Hello, and welcome to the About section of my portfolio.
I'd always been drawn to design, but had never had the confidence or the time to turn it into anything more than a hobby. When the pandemic hit, though, I was forced to confront hard questions such as: Who am I? and: How will I find fulfillment in life? and: Why do I keep looking for jobs in HR? Do I even like HR?
When I launched myself into designing, though, I found the answers to those questions (IDK but that's okay; by doing things that make you happy e.g. designing; money; no you don't), as well as a newfound confidence in my future and my career.
It was like putting on a really outlandish pair of pants that had always been lying around but that you had always dismissed as being too far out of your comfort zone, but then when you pull them on you find not only that they fit perfectly, but also that they're kinda exactly your style and they inspire you to express a truer version of yourself for the rest of your life.
I love designing more with each new project I take on, and I'm glad I've ended up here. Other things I love include French cheeses, hiking, and dachshunds named Obby (short for Oblong)*.
